I assume you're supposed to use the knife on the fan control, but it doesn't work. It doesn't seem like it's possible to get any farther after getting the knife and lemon.

Doesn't look like anything's improved since the last time this got taken down.

Some good elements in here, but definitely needs some work. The collisions are touchy, specifically corners don't work well. A lot of difficulty seems to come from iffy controls rather than level design, except in a couple spots where the level design is more unfair than challenging. The randomly bouncing blades in one of the optional levels leave a lot of your chances of getting through up to luck, and the level with the gray thing that shoots blue bullets right next to where you spawn is really annoying. I'd also recommend throwing in sound effects/visual effects, and fixing up the text system so it isn't just black text over the game backgrounds.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but once you're on a ladder, you can only go in the direction you were going when you got on it. So if you start climbing up, you can't go down until you get off at the top and get back on. You should be able to go either way (and maybe add the ability to hit a button to drop off a ladder). I'd also recommend faster general movement, and much faster falling. You should also consider letting the player move while they fall. The art could also use an overhaul.

coconutloverrr responds:

That is not the bug, if you climb up you will need to climb to the end and if you climb down then you do the same too, the intention of the ladder is to help you to climb up or down, why would you want to go up again if you have already climbed down? And Yes the gravity issue will be solved in the next update, it indeeds is a little bit slow therefore the gravity force needs to be stronger

Generally speaking if you made a game in three days you should probably polish it up some more before posting it (seeing as you don't have a deadline for that). For starters, I'd recommend actual ladder climbing instead of jumping up them like platforms, and either not dying from one hit, or not going all the way back to the beginning after dying.

PT34 responds:

I changed the ladder climbing that now you can hold the jump button to climb. :)

It's a decent game, but you shouldn't be able to die immediately after you spawn. You should either spawn in a safe area, or have a short amount of invulnerable time after spawning. Also consider making bullets look different from the other particle effects.

NoxtarApps responds:

Yes, thank you so much for the feedback. I fixed that and added extra features, check it out :)

As far as I can tell, this is just some semi-functional menus (the skip button doesn't work, and the hitboxes on some of the arrows are iffy) followed by being able to move around a white rectangle while nothing happens. A little too early to even consider it an alpha.

Bugs:
-Gun stops working at a random points (not related to how many times you've fired, so not ammo running out)
-Whenever you stop moving with the arrows keys, the player slides with momentum toward wherever the cursor is no matter which way you were moving

General suggestions:
-Enemies shouldn't move so fast
-AI that's more than bouncing around
-There doesn't seem to be any cooldown time after an enemy hurts you, add some invuln frames
-Add effects when things get hit
-Score
-Ammo pick ups
-Weapon pick ups
-Music / SFX
-Title and Game Over screens that aren't just pure red
-Display player and boss health bars in static corners of the screen

I'd recommend actually making the sprites rock, paper, and scissors. It would be more intuitive to play and look better.

AtomusGames responds:

Thanks for your feedback. While I'd agree it makes it more intuitive, I think the shapes add an extra level of difficulty because players need to think every time they switch shape. We will do some testing with different sprites and see what we can do.

Clicking the information button brings up a box that blocks you from clicking any other buttons, so you have to refresh to play the game. The level also seems to add/remove obstacles at a constant speed across the level, rather than with the movement of the player. The player should either be forced to constantly move forward instead of controlling their speed, or the level should generate with their movement. I'd recommend having either a clear start and finish, or scores. And if A/D or Left/Right can be used to move, then W/D should also let you change size like Up/Down do.

Don't mind me, just making dumb stuff for the internet now and then
